Picture Above: Jax holding on for dear life!
Jax's surgery started promptly at about 10:45 am. The doctors allowed ONE of us to walk back with Jax to the operating room as he received his anesthesia. Darren loathes hospitals, so I decided to go. I witnessed our little guy fall peacefully and painlessly asleep in my arms and kissed him "goodbye".
The outpour of support and prayers has played a huge part in the calmness both Darren and I feel today. I cannot speak for Darren personally, but I feel so much peace. I feel the prayers and I feel God's presence.
The surgery is to last approximately 1 hour and then Jax will go to the recovery room for 1 hour.
